Dashboard #
After you log in, you’ll see the Dashboard. This is the main area where you manage your website.
The Dashboard Menu appears on the left-hand side of the screen.
The Toolbar appears across the top and provides quick access to common actions.

The items in this menu depend on which features are enabled on your website. This menu will be referenced often in these instructions, so it’s helpful to become familiar with it.
Common Dashboard Menu Options #
These items appear on most WordPress websites. You may use some of all of these depending on how your site is set up.
Used for blog or news posts. Posts must be added to your site’s menu or layout before visitors can see them.
Note: Post are on every website, even if yours isn't configured to show them.
Stores all images, documents, and files uploaded to your website.
Contains the main pages of your website.
Note: Pages are on every website, but new ones won't automatically show up in menus
Allows you to view and manage comments on posts or pages, if comments are enabled.
Controls how your website looks.
